Branch Genesis:
NEDFi opened up a branch in Namchi, South Sikkim - its 2nd branch in the state of Sikkim. NEDFi Namchi Branch Office started its operation from March 2011 and the area covered by Namchi Branch is the entire South and West District of Sikkim. Since March 2011, NEDFi Namchi B.O. has been discharging all the activities and functions of NEDFi, right from developing activities to sanctioning and appraising of projects in the South West District of Sikkim. NEDFi Namchi Branch also has done quite a few Corporate Social Responsibility activities.
