NEDFi has been an integral part of North-East India’s eco system for the last one and half decade, silently playing its role of facilitating, nurturing, financing and promoting the development of entrepreneurship and growth of enterprises in this remote part of India.We have shared our journey of 16 years with our stakeholders and well-wishers who have given us their unstinted support all these year.It has been a journey of immense pleasure and satisfaction to see our enterprises grow and prosper like a mother who beams with pleasure and pride to see her child grow.

Through this treatise, we would like you, our stakeholders and well-wishers, to get a glimpse of our humble efforts in nurturing entrepreneurship and enterprises in the eight North Eastern States of India.Our efforts, we hope, would contribute to economic growth, employment generation and prosperity in the region. In the pages inside we present to you stories of all hue and milieu, stories of perseverance and hard work of our entrepreneurs, stories of big and small entrepreneurs, stories from the fast growing urban-centres as well as remote towns and villages of North-East India.

The stories will continue to inspire us in the years ahead and hope it reinforce your resolve to support and engage with this Corporation in future for the betterment of the North-Eastern Region.  For now let me recollect a few lines from my childhood poetry book where Robert Frost says –

The woods are lovely, dark and deep…………………..
